I don’t doubt for one second that this guy was tortured. Of course, the Bush administration is calling his claims bullshit because it suits their purposes to do so. If they admit torture then they have to admit it’s wrong. Then they have to admit that their policies regarding prisoners in the Middle East are wrong.
This is just another cast of the tail wagging the dog. I hope it doesn’t take off.
