I love to watch t.v. court shows. I admit it. It’s way better than scripted comedy for a good laugh. I’m always amazed at the people that will put these kinds of problems on television and then make utter asses of themselves while trying to make their case.
Today two ladies are bickering because one paid the other to deliver her newspapers for her while she went on vacation. The “sub†delivery woman didn’t fell like delivering Sunday papers on Sunday, so she delivered them with Monday’s papers. Ha! Well, this cost the vacationing delivery person to lose her $200 perfect carrier bonus. Both ladies are in their 50’s (well, I assume because of their appearance). How funny! They’re arguing like junior high kids….lol. The plaintiff’s witness is her daughter who proudly proclaimed that she is a former playboy model. All three need to lay off the booze and cigarettes because they are looking bad. By the way, the defendant has to pay the plaintiff her $200.
On another show a tenant is suing his landlord. She’s keeping his security deposit because he owes her $219. She’s also loud, mean, and obviously uneducated. I just want to roll on the floor laughing. “I done called him…†This is what I tell people to see when they tell me grammar isn’t important. It shows how ignorant people sound when they open their traps. Ah, the landlord prevails. Seems the plaintiff lied about getting his deposit back. How dramatic that the landlord waited through 2 commercials to present her evidence!
I know watching these shows is bad and my time could be better spent online reading depressing news or watching on of those asinine 24 hour news channels, but how can I resist? Stupidity is funniest in it’s pure form.
