Aw, look how good they are….

So, Mr. Prez and his minions have found a way to circumvent the law while placating their ignorant base. I’m not surprised by this finding.

What does surprise me is that the media isn’t picking up on it. I mean, honestly, this is good stuff. The Prz signs a popular bill into law, but adds a foot note basically saying “I don’t like this and am going to ignore it.” And that little statement actually holds water with the Supreme court (two members having been picked by His Highness) is absolutely brilliant.

Well, it’s our own fault that our Constitution is becoming nothing more than a piece of historical paper. We sit and allow our Congress to bow to the King because the same ones are elected over and over. We don’t get out to vote, we just whine and complain. Well, the majority of us anyway.

I wonder if my baby will know what it’s like to live in a free country. I certainly hope that I’m wrong and our empire isn’t on the way down.
