Pat Robertson’s mouth has cost him his piece of the Holy Land.
I usually don’t pay much attention to Pat Robertson, he’s such a freak (I watch Benny Hinn to get a good laugh). But this is so funny that I can’t help but comment on it.
He likes to say cruel things to get his audience riled up, and usually he gets no kind of rebuking. But this time is different. He was going to get part of $50 mil to help build some kind of Christian heritage center in Israel. “Was†because Israel has now said that Pat Robertson cannot participate. He said that their leader was struck down by god because he divided the Holy Land. Well, the Israelis weren’t having any kind of that crap. They struck back.
I say more power to them. And way to go. They don’t need some kind of bigotted nutcase like Robertson advertising for them. And they d0n’t need his kind messing up their country. They’ve got enough crazies to worry about. I don’t think that Robertson (or anyone who is affiliated with him) will make it very far if he should travel over there. I hope that he’s not allowed in the country at all anymore. Ha! How would he make it to the rapture then?
Oh and he did apologize but it didn’t do any good. According to CNN, the Israelis still do not want Robertson to be a part of their project. Well, good for them.
Maybe now the bonehead will learn to curb his tongue. Or maybe people will just stop giving him air time. That’d be even better.
