I was at DailyKos and was reading about the Denmark papers publishing pictures of Muhammad (I consider them to be tasteless and racist, by the way). So, the discussion was centered around free speech. Someone mentioned that Danes have to name their children from a pre-approved list. So I went searching. And so it is so true. So much for the free speech argument, huh?
So, I’m looking for the list of names (can’t read the language on that site so I don’t know what they are) and came across this on Perfect Baby Names. Ha ha. I just think it’s funny.
I don’t think that this law would fly here, of course. But I wish we had something like it. Little Miss has two classmates named…Tequila….LOL.
Update: Ok, so I’m still looking into this name list thing. It’s fun, what can I say? I found Jon Cusack version 2.0 in my search. Oh, that poor child. He would have certainly benefited from a naming law of some sort. I remember seeing somewhere that some idiots named their baby “ESPN”, but I haven’t found the link to that yet.
