Here we have yet another example of the screwed up priorities of the King. He wants more money for a war that was started on lies and that most people don’t want, but less money for the poor, elderly, and survivors of the above.

No, $255 doesn’t do much for funeral expenses. It’s a drop in the bucket really. But if you’re someone struggling with , I dunno, $15,000 a year then $255 helps quite a bit. To some people who receive this benefit it’s a windfall. But Georgie doesn’t see why they should receive that money. Why help them even a little bit? I would ask why the poor people aren’t up in arm a la French Revolution, but I already know. They don’t have the time or energy to even find out what their government is doing to help them. They’re working way too much to even read the paper (that’s if the paper is printing this nonsense).
