Last night’s TDS

I happened to catch the end of “The Daily Show” last night and saw that Paul Hackett had been on there. Well, of course, I had to stay up and watch the 1:00 a.m. broadcast. Unfortunately, Baby is very sick and needs lots of love and cuddles when she wakes up, so I missed it again. Have no fear, though, I caught the 10 a.m. broadcast today. Holy Cow, but that was flippin’ hilarious!

Ed Helms did a story on our friend Hackett and it was very obvious that Hackett was going along with it (unlike that Senator from N.J. a couple of weeks ago on “The Colbert Report”…too funny). They also had an interview with a Democratic strategist whose opinion is that the Dems are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing (bah!) For a better analysis (I don’t have time) check out Wonkette.

What was really funny was that Ed Helms was trying to make Paul more “electable” and kept telling him to take the “emotion out of it”. If you didn’t see it last night it’ll be on again today- I’m not really sure when.
