My dear friend, O’Tim, has tagged me. Can you believe that? He wants to know 10 things that folks might not know about me. Very interesting. Well, Sir, I will give it my best shot. I just want you to know that this is causing me to really think and I really don’t appreciate that. 
Here we go:
- I used to be a Metal Head. My favorite group was The Scorpions, and my first concert ever was Monsters of Rock back in ‘87 (it was on my 14th birthday). I even met Klaus Mein (Scorpions lead singer).
- I love “Spongebob Squarepants”. What more can I say?
- I have learned the proper way to say “LOLcats”. LOW-L. Matt Cutt said it in this video (at 11:22. It’s a long video and if you’re not interested in SEO, don’t watch the whole thing).
- I can speak a little French, Spanish, and German. But not enough to hold a conversation.
- When I was 14 I ran away and lived in Florida for 9 months (with a grown man and his family). I had a fake social security number with a fake name (Amparo Gomez).
- I’m not as confident as I pretend to be.
- I have let men lick my belly button.:) (Back when I was young, single, and oh-so cute.)
- My children were all born on rainy Wednesdays.
- I miss my old friends from Canton. A lot.
- My dream home would be located in Savannah, Georgia.
I had a really tough time with this one. The only reason is that I have a tough time with self-reflection. I realize that I’m not supposed to get too in depth or give TMI, but sometimes I have a tendency to just tell all. Oops. Curbing my typing fingers was hard.

I agree whining is bad. Ranting is okay though–just take the whine and add a few sprinkles of idiot and a dollop of fuck . . . viola, a rant!

“Used to be a Metalhead”? I’ve not yet met a “former” metalhead. They try to deny it but deep down they all want to put on Priest and mosh. You know you do!
I saw the Scorpions after Monsters of Rock when they went on the road with Kingdom Come (who REALLY sucked!). Great show!

I ‘used to be’ a metal head too… I was a goth before that but the hair-dye was getting too expensive… but sdywynd is right - I still feel the urge to jump around and break things whenever I hear ‘Ace of Spades’ by Motorhead. (Nirvana killed ‘hair metal’ though… for me anyway).

I was at that Monsters of Rock show! I think I was a high school senior, or maybe a college freshman. Rokkin’ with Dokken!
