Girls Rule and Boys Drool

Scratch that. I’m really fucking annoyed.

Remember when I was all ga-ga over that Entrecard thing? Ok,well I’m still a little fascinated by it. Anyway, I was bored so I went to see what was up in the forums there. In the “Make Money Online” category (DO NOT GO THERE!!!) a female actually made it to the top spot. She beat OMG! John Chow. Even worse, other people are gauging their own success by how well John Chow is doing.

“What, so far, has been your most surprising or, at least, interesting EntreCard related moment?

Mine has been passing John Chow for “Most Recommended” site (I took the screenshot and will probably post it on my blog in a day or two).”
*****
“I’m threatening to pass John Cow”
*****
“Mine was when I was side by side John Chow for Most Recommended. ”

Heard of him?

Yeah, neither did I until I spoiled my own innocence by checking that shit out. He’s just a big ol’ spammer/scammer who makes money off of other people’s gullibility. He says “Do this” and the fucking lemmings take a nose dive into nothingness thinking they’re going to oh-so-great. What’s really happening is that the “This” of which he refers is some kind of affiliate link and he’s making money for each person that signs up. Of course, the lemmings don’t make any money because they’re all sucking Chow’s dick, following his lead and none of them can get the kind of referrals he can (because they’re sucking so damned hard). SG mentioned this in my Entrecard post. There’s always someone making money off of someone else online and it’s usually the desperate ones that are losing. The only way that Chow makes money is when the lemmings fall for his line. For fuck’s sake the man is proud to have been banned from Digg for spamming. No fucking doubt he paid some folks from the goddamned “Get a freelancer” site to Digg his shit until people literally puked from just seeing his name. Anyway, not my point.

What irritates the hell out of me is that this chick, Toni Turner, is working her tail off networking and getting her name out there and the SEO men are amazed that a “girl” can beat “THE” Chow. Gimme a fucking break, all ready. Ms. Turner was pretty proud that she was mentioned on John Cow (who chose his name purposely to get traffic off the name of the other guy, or so I’ve read). She was mentioned because the author thought it was funny that the great one himself was beaten by a “girl”. So, it was actually a stab at that other guy because a “real” man would not have been beaten by a “girl” and therefore Chow is not a “real” man. WTF?

And while she was at it, she took down our favorite Mr Problogger too! Congratulations Toni, you show ‘em who’s boss!

That wasn’t a congratulations. It was a poke in the eye of John Chow. That’s nothing to be proud of. Unless, of course, you’re willing to take traffic any way that you can get it, including but not limited to being used to laugh at a not-real-man.

From the comments of that post:

I noticed this as well as I was dropping my card.

Who’s Toni Turner anyway?

*****
Toni has a very nice site, she has beaten JC on EntreCard points.

Lets see IF she starts earning over $27,000 / month like “the man” JC.

It’d be a shame if you’re too uptight to let this through but, and in my honest opinion, a lot of that has to do with vagina. I don’t want to take anything away from women bloggers on here but, while I’m sure there are exceptions, I’ve seen it time and time again that a woman who really shouldn’t have beat a LOT of bloggers, never mind a top blogger, ends up through the roof because, plain and simple, men are part dog… or part cow, whatever you prefer.

Women have the advantage when it comes to getting a boob in the door.

I swear to all that’s holy and good that I would much rather read the fucking Little Green Footballs and Mark all day than read these fucking imbeciles. I don’t like “anything for a dollar” bullshit and I don’t like that women think it’s ok to be treated that way so they can get more traffic because more traffic equals one more dollar. That’s really fucking sad. This lady (she’s a woman not a “girl”) has been really working hard to promote herself and her blog (See below). She’s hoping to be able to tell her brick-and-mortar boss to kiss her ass soon, and she gets no credit from those fucking “men”. GAH! That drives me straight up a wall and I swear to the Gods I want to kick someone in the balls because of it. She’s got a vagina and some boobs which must mean that she doesn’t have the brains to kick their asses in their own fucking game. Idiots.

I don’t like shady shit. I am an honest person and my personal pride would wither and die before I could bring myself to manipulate, lie, and cheat innocent passersby. This is why I would suck ass at marketing. Thank the Gods I was born with a conscience and an honest heart. I know it takes a lot of balls to compete against unscrupulous men, and you have to sacrifice to get ahead. Blah, blah, blah. This is why I’m poor and why People trust me when I say something. There’s a lot to be said for that and I wouldn’t trade that for the world.

Update:
My opinion about working hard has changed based on this. She was caught cheating the system and was busted down to negative EC. That makes me sad. But a “girl’s” gotta do what a “girl’s” gotta do. Now I think I’m going to go shower, drink some tequila, and fight a man. I feel a surge of estrogen that no one can beat now. Bring it on. And don’t forget your cup, mister, because I fight dirty.

A-men.

I have no idea what you’re talking about, but dammit I can appreciate a powerful and well-articulated smackdown rant, so ROCK ON, SISTER!!!

hell yeah you kick ass Ms. Jenny Jinx! Nice post, I guess the lesson is hard work will eventually pay off years from now (ugh, but it’s worth it – right? ;) ) and cheaters will eventually get caught no matter what their background, sex, orientation, creed, ethnicity etc are.

Unfortunately the money making blogs are the scourge of the 21’st century…they all used to be telemarketers. Luckily for them there are still a lot of stupid people out there to con.

But really, you have no one to blame but yourself for wandering into their territory…You should feel dirty and have to take a few showers now.

Fortunately there are many other categories and blogs that are really good.

As far as the credits and the idiots trying to game the system to be bigger than chow will realize how much of a mistake it is when nobody wants to spend 200 credits to advertise on their boring ass site.

    Miz Uv,
You don’t want to know. And thankee. :)

    Howdy, AJ & Talen,

Thanks for the compliment, AJ. The lesson, though, is a strong woman will kick a spammer’s ass with a blindfold on and nothing but a purse to back her up. Watch out!

    P.S.
Your name brings joy to my heart. ;)

    Talen,

You’re right. It’s my fault. But I was innocent and easily led astray. Besides, so many people mention this person or that I wonder “Why?” that leads to an investigation which eventually leads to bleached eyeballs. Never ask why, I guess, or you’ll never be clean again. *sob!*

    Thanks for stopping by!

I love it when you say “for fuck’s sake”. It’s so English, and hot.

Spammers make me crazy, in any form they take. These guys take a fun pursuit (like blogging) and suck all the joy out of it. Bastards.

    I. Want. To. Scream!! I’m on Entrecard too and I was delighted to see that lady doing well for herself. When I read those comments, I immediately thought, are you fucking kidding me?!! I was really happy for her and I thought it was pretty shitty for people to still think (in this day and age for fuck sake) that women can’t do it as good as men. What a load of crap! I was disappointed when I got to the end and realized she had cheated though…But still, why wouldn’t a woman be successful? What has blogging got to do with gender anyway??

I think it’s all kinda pathetic, so what if Toni is a woman? She’s doing the work and people see that. The one good thing about this is that she is getting noticed, which means more traffic and recognition for her.

Fascinating how many people support her attempt to cheat. It just goes to show how many adults are lying when they tell their kids to play fairly.

    Sydwynd,
You keep it up, Mister, and I’m going to come to N.Y. Then you’ll have to back those words. :)

And, yes, the spammers have contaminated the blogosphere. I’ve got a rant for that when I get around to it. And I’m not even a purist. Heh.

    Claire,
That’s what I thought. But the worst part, for me anyway, was that she was glad she got mentioned in that way. HUH? Honestly, I’d rather be ignored than used as a stick with which to beat someone over head. That’s just sad. Why is it ok to get traffic any ol’ way? Where is the personal pride?

    Colin,
As I said above, I’d rather get zero traffic than that kind. Screw that kind of recognition. But I know how it goes. She’ll get traffic because of getting that link. That link is still dirty, in my opinion. She wasn’t recognized because she competes but because Chow “doesn’t”. That sucks ass.

    Joe,
She got caught cheating, yes. And I was going to change my rant until I realized that she’d lost all of her points and then went about getting more honestly (I hope…Gah!). That’s one of the things that make that part of blogovia so dirty to me. Many of these folks will do anything to get traffic and search engine rankings. Cheating means squat, unless you get caught. Then it’s a whole other ball game.

I ran across a blog that was touting Auto-blogging. You set up a bunch of blogs and the damned software puts content on for you. Scraping. Ugh! Dirty.

I will never be the same. *sigh*

Ah, the youthful zest and energy. I was going to suggest to tone down the expletives of an otherwise brilliant commentary on the “Internet Marketing” scam-sites. But that won’t be a true representation of yourself. So, keep up the good fight!

    Hi, Rudy,

Ah, the youthful zest and energy.

I’ll be 35 in June. How’s that for youthful? As much as I like a veiled insult, please be more forward. I may like my “expletives” but I’m certainly not dense enough to think that was some kind of compliment.

I was going to suggest to tone down the expletives of an otherwise brilliant commentary on the “Internet Marketing” scam-sites.

Yeah, it’s probably better that you avoided that little bit of advice. If colorful language is something you’d with which you’d rather not burn your eyeballs then this really isn’t the blog for you. I haven’t toned down for anyone yet, and I have no intentions of starting now.

Interesting that you’re comfortable enough with your knowledge of me to declare what is and isn’t a “true representation” of me. Since you’re so familiar with the author of a blog you’ve just happened upon, I don’t have to tell you what I think of that particular assumption.

Your condescension and/or disapproval is duly noted, however.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Jenny,

Sorry you took my comment the wrong way. I wasn’t trying to be condescending or sarcastic. You’re right, I don’t know you, but I was being truthful about your blog post.

Not all men are terrible, you know?

    Regards.

  13. Posted December 19, 2007 at 1:10 pm | Permalink

My apologies, Rudy. I’m not familiar with you and did indeed take it wrong. I was, actually, ready to do battle with the Make Money Blogging folks.

And I don’t believe men as a whole are terrible. My guys can attest to that. :) I’m generally a good natured person, but sometimes I get a little, um, steamed.

Again, I apologize. And thanks for the clarification.

Yeah! You better stop with all the fucking curse words, my fucking virgin eyes can’t take that shit. What the fuck? Why can’t anyone make a fucking point without using dirty motherfucking language?

Sorry couldn’t help myself. If my blog had a ’swear jar’ I would have enough change for a trip to the Bahamas by now!

  15. Posted December 19, 2007 at 11:28 pm | Permalink

    Holy shitballs, AntiBarbie! That rocks!

    *ahem*

Here. Have some bleach to clean your poor eyeballs. I wouldn’t want to contribute to traumatizing you with too many “fucks” in a row. Mwahaha!!

Swear jar? Yeah, I’d be broke because all I’d be doing is putting money in the damned thing. :)
