   It still amazes me the muck Republicans (and Clinton) will dig up to destroy a candidate. Assume for a moment he had gone to one of those fundamentalist schools. Do you REALLY think he’d get that far in American politics if we was an ACTUAL radical muslim? Please.

   Just wanted to say thank you for your encouraging words on my blog.

   Also, my best friend made a remark about Obama not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. WHAT?!? What nonsense. Yeah, she read it in an e-mail and I told her that she was much, much smarter than that and to stop depending on what stupid e-mails said and to pick up a newspaper or go onto Obama website and get real information. GAH!!

   Indeed! Why not a Muslim? Make him a more interesting and compelling candidate, IMHO. I mean the people you really want to keep out of office are those godless atheists and agnostics. Ought to have a law about that.
