I can’t fucking stand the PUMAs. No lie. I especially can’t stand the ones that claim to be feminists and then call Michelle Obama an angry “ape”. Bah! I don’t care who they vote for and am glad they’re not on my side anymore.
At any rate, I was visiting some blogs and happened upon this video. I know there are plenty of videos out there detailing the sexism directed at Hillary from the MSM1 and I could go into a tirade about how evil it all was. Except I can’t stand Hillary and when she adopted those fake accents (the Southern and supposedly Midwestern ones)2 she about made me puke3. Plus I don’t hold Obama and/or his campaign personally responsible for the idiots on the teevee. So anyway, I found this video and thought it appropriate for my blog. I’m passing it along to you.
It’s a pretty good explanation about why a 40 year-old Black woman might not be so proud of her country all the time.
This is long and might not be safe for work.
P.S.
I would just like to point out that there is still a female presidential candidate in the mix. Cynthia McKinney is running for the Green Party. Also, HRC is not the first female presidential candidate (as I also wrongly assumed). Lenora Fulani was, apparently, the first woman to “achieve ballot access in all fifty states”4.
Here is a list of female U.S. Presidential candidates (post-nomination). I notice that McKinney isn’t listed on this page and don’t really want to go the trouble of signing up to edit the page, but there ya go. Now, why is it again that HRC is still getting all the credit for getting the XX’s into the Presidential race?

- Don’t tell anyone, but Fulani is also Black. Imagine that! [↩]

I watched the whole thing. Being a black man, I didn’t need to see this to know why. And you don’t have to be black to know why. If you’re open minded. If you can put yourself in another person’s shoes. If you can get out of a self-centered, entitlement-mode of thinking, then anyone could see it.
Joe Scarborough is a world class idiot. Mika rocks.
You know, I have lived on this Earth for about 29 years. I have seen different things. I never could understand why blacks hated whites so much. I understand that it was only 20 or so short years from the MLK days. I understand that.
What I never understood was the constant preaching of the white man hating the black man. Why black people preached this to themselves. Why the hate of black people not only got worse, it got more horrifying.
I know that black hate whites. I know this for a fact. I have talked with several black people on the question. You can’t tell me that deep down that Obama likes white people. You can’t tell me that he is able to over come the programming that has been instilled in him as a child.
You can’t tell me that whites like blacks either. from my prospective, I can’t go to college for free because of my skin color. I can’t go to college for free because of where I was born. I’m not a minority. I don’t get special treatment, if anything I get the opposite done.
Black people do not see it, and I don’t expect them to. I bust my ass working on a daily basis to pay to project housing where black people decide it is a good place to screw and have more children so they can continue to live there. They say the do not want that life style, but as a community they are doing nothing to help themselves. They want to be government co-dependence.
As far as Obama goes for president, I will not be voting for him. I will not be voting for McKane either. I personally hope that the US government meets its doom with this election. I’m not going to elect the next dictator of the US. I will have no part in that. Black White or other.
Schad,
I knew you would understand. I put this up for people that can’t fathom why it would be that any Black person would say that they “really proud” of this country for the first time. A good example of why is Mouseclone’s comment.
Mouseclone,
First, you should have read a little of my archives prior to posting your comment. I say that because reading through my archives (just a little) you would realize that half of my family is Black. You would have known that my daughter is Black and that I take issues of race and racism very seriously.
First you must understand why a lot of whites have hated Blacks in this country for centuries. You have to know what it’s like to have a family member killed because of the color of their skin (or beaten or denied housing or denied their very history).
Not all Blacks are angry at all whites, but America’s history has been resoundingly hostile to Black people as a whole. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand it. Facts are facts and to understand you must see the history.
Barack Obama was raised by his white mother and his white grandmother. Did you know that? How is it, then, that his white mother instilled hate for herself into her son? Your statement makes no sense.
Based on the above assertation my own daughter should hate me because I’ve instilled that hate into her, right?
Also, if you’ve “talked to several black people” what did you learn? Did you listen or did they just tie you up, beat you senseless and steal you blind. I call bullshit. An open mind would not declare that Barack Obama secretly hates white people because it was instilled into him by his white mother.
Based on this you also dislike: Women, poor people, and the disabled. Right? You must really hate that poor, blind Black chick cruising around on the local college campus then. Because she was favored three times over!
For the record, I am a college student and happen to know that the government doles out loans and grants based on a lot of different things. YOUR issue with college admissions would be directed at the colleges themselves, because the Ivy League colleges are more likely to fill quotas than your average tier 4 or 5 college. Many Black college students (even in your state colleges) are there on scholarships. What’s the problem? You couldn’t get that loan and/or scholarship?
**Off-topic: I just received a scholarship for being accepted into my universities honor college. ***
Classic racist tripe. “Black people make millions off of welfare by having heathen animal children!!!” Give me a fucking break.
Ask the poster above you (Schad) if he’s living like this. I have no doubt in my mind that he- a Black man - is better educated and making more money than you. I would also go into the amazingly beautiful people to whom I am related are nothing like you seem to think. That’s your narrow world view shaped by other fuck-head racists.
The ignorance is overwhelming me. Honestly, that you could take an entire group of people and pigeon hole them is surprising to me. But, at the same time, not.
You go on about how Black people are taking your rightful spot in jobs and universities and then bitch because they’re all on welfare living in the projects. Seriously, make up your fucking mind. They’re getting special treatment in taking your job, or they’re sucking away your hard earned tax dollars by breeding in the ghetto. Which is it?
Get over yourself. Really. If you wanted any of the advantages that you think Black folks have stolen from you (apparently including the advantage of free-living in government housing) you could have it. You could take your ass to college and get a fucking job- and would be more likely to get it than me or the Black man posting above you.
Also, please don’t vote until you can spell all the candidates’ names correctly. Thank you.
P.S.
I can actually tell you this. I am white and have no problem with Black folks. As a matter of fact, I know plenty of white folks who enjoy the company of Black folks and visa versa.
This statement holds true for all sorts of brown folks and GLBT folks too. I also happen to like white men.
That is all.
@Mouseclone
“I have talked with several black people…” - doubtful.
Jason,
Exactly.
