** I was supposed to write this last night, but I got distracted when company arrived 5 minutes before the end of “Monk”. Sadly, I was then not in the mood to imbibe zee al kee hall.1 **
Yesterday I was outside trying to get a picture of Toady. The little guy has become a member of the family- almost2. When we got up yesterday, we had to go outside and say “Good Morning” to him. And we also have to say “Good Night” to him. It’s all very cute. Anyway, I had the camera out and was ready to shoot. But, what do you know, there’s a storm rolling in. And the storm clouds look awesome. So, I got some pictures of those instead.

Well that huge storm lasted about 20 minutes and wasn’t even strong enough to blow a tree branch out of one of our big trees. Pfft. It did, however, kill the Internets for a while. Thanks, Verizon.
After the storm, it started getting dark. So we went out to say “good night” to Toady. He’s hiding in the bushes at the back of our house. Otie is much enamored with the little guy. Every single time we go out there he stops to point at him just in case I have to pick him up for Lil’lady.

Poor Toady. I don’t know why he hangs out back there. If I were him I’d hop my little ass under the fence and find a better hiding spot. Of course, he’s happily eating beetles, which is really good for me. I just feel bad that the dog and the child can’t get enough of him. You’d think they’d be bored by now.
I’m off to the huge Hospice yard sale today. People donate stuff to them and they sell it to make some moolah. Other Sis and I are going together. It’ll be tons of fun, because, well, it’s a HUGE yard sale with proceeds going to an awesome organization and what’s better than that? I’m hoping to find a new dresser or perhaps a tread mill. If not one of those, then maybe and 8 track Kiss tape for TheMan to lose his mind over. Mwahaha!!
